- What worked/didn’t?
- How did your writing process change from your first few journals and your first essay to this point?
- What changes do you observe in your writing?
- Why do you think these changes occurred?
- Reflect on your argument so far. What was/not hard about this process?
I brainstormed and came up with every idea I could about my topic. Theses, topic sentences, side arguments, different opinions, etc… I then filtered all of this down and organized my paper into paragraphs of intro, history, and three body paragraphs followed by a conclusion. At one point I got very confused because there were so many ideas on my page organization and filtering became though. So it took longer than I thought.
Since I didn’t write much in the summer the difference between then and now is astounding because my creativity is flowing during the school year. My grammar and writing style is basically the same.
Practice makes perfect. The more I wrote this year, the more fluid it was and the more substance I was able to put into it.
Nothing was hard about the process. The only real critical thinking I had to do was finding a solid connection between the American Dream and GTA. Because when I was talking to you it was more or less self-explanatory but we have to write the papers as if a baby is reading them, which means there has to be a step by step thorough explanation with no gaps. Filling in the gaps was more challenging than everything else. And I still don’t know if I have overlooked gaps in the paper. It will hopefully be full by the final draft.
